Caroline Wozniacki Lands on ESPN The Magazine’s World’s Most Famous Athletes List

PUBLISHED May 30, 2017

Caroline appears in ESPN The Magazine’s second-annual list of the most famous athletes on the planet, coming in at No. 87. The World Fame 100 list is determined through a combination of endorsements, social media following and internet search popularity. Wozniacki, the only tennis player from Denmark, man or woman, to be ranked No. 1 in the world, joins global icons such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lebron James, and her good friend, Serena Williams.

This is the latest in Caroline’s long list of achievements on and off the court, which include 25 WTA singles titles, holding the world No. 1 ranking for 67 weeks, and three consecutive appearances in Sports Illustrated’s famed Swimsuit Issue (2015-2017).
